Hello, this is Patrick Kibiegon Rop. I am curently enrolled in moringa school as a student for a software developement course Moringa school is one of the leading institution for comprehensive training and mentoring of students and proffesionals who are enthusiastic in matters technology.
As a new software developement student, i have been able to learn the following;
The first step to becoming a software developer is knowing the type of software to use. During the the first week, i was able to install linux mint distribution system, a text editor(Visual studio code) Slack channel communication app and Zoom meeting app.
2.Terminal is one of the powerful tool every developer should be familiar with. Terminal is an interface that allow users to interact with computer by simply typing commands into command prompt.
3.Git is a free and open distributed version control system too to manage your source code history. Github is a code hosting platform for version control and collaboration. It simply lets you and others work on projects from anywhere.
4.HTML simply stands for Hyper Text markup Language. It is used to create web pages and describe their structure as well. It is made up of series of elements that tells browser how to display content.
5.CSS stands for Cascading Style sheets. This is a Language that is basically used to style an HTML document and describe how pages should be didplayed.

I am a GIS graduate class of 2020 from The Technical university of kenya. I am flexible,harworking self-driven and passionate in matters technology. I am also enthusiastic and a great team player and organized. I am conversant with skills such as QGis, and Arc Gis softwares, drone technology and software associated ,types of geographic data among so many others. I enrolled to programming classes in order to add skills and value to my already acquired skills and also to find a why of merging the two, that is software developement and Geographic Information System. Also i got a passion in programming, hence wanted to pursue to get indepth knowlodge and new skil.
My hobbies include watching movies,soccer and playing games(chess)
